As our exploration of the Waifei Peninsula deepens, the climax of Season 2 finally reveals long-buried secrets. I am excited to share that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 “Fuel the Night” is coming on December 30th, bringing content, optimizations, and rewards galore.

Uncover the secrets hidden in the Hollow expansion

During a battle in the past, the legendary Qingming Sword resonated strangely deep within the Lemnian Hollow, implying that its primordial power had a deep connection with the Hollow. Having borrowed this power to overcome a formidable enemy, Ye Shunguang now faces the inevitable consequences of using such extraordinary power. Meanwhile, a mysterious white flower — previously only seen in the Hollows — begins to bloom in Failume Heights, creating a sense of foreboding in the district.

Amid rising tensions, Zhao from the Krampus Compliance Authority arrives with worrying news: Lemnian Hollow has expanded. The proxies will join Ye Shunguang and Zhao to venture into the ruins of the Lumite Mine to investigate anomalies, delve deeper into the conspiracy of the Exaltists, and face the final battle on the Waifei Peninsula.

The Rise of the Void Hunter Ye Shunguang

After forging countless precious memories with Ye Shunguang and fighting alongside him to awaken Ye Shiyuan, Proxy would once again join this young senior disciple of Yunkui Summit. As the first dual-form Void Hunter in the game, Ye Shunguang, a Rank S Sharpened Edge Attack Agent, can unleash liquid attacks and explosive blast phases with the Qingming Sword, delivering intimidating attacks that can have a significant impact in intense battles.

The familiar agent who accompanies us on this adventure is Zhao. Despite his adorable appearance, Zhao holds the legacy of the legend of the invincible Krampus Compliance Authority. As a Rank S Ice Defense Agent, Zhao would bring great power to the battlefield and provide important support to Ye Shunguang.

Improved experience with many events and optimizations

With a variety of events and ongoing optimization, Version 2.5 brings a better gaming experience and more dynamic Proxy Outpost community features. The long-awaited multiplayer showdown is coming in the form of the limited-time event Joint Investigation: The Divine Maze. Players can form squads of three to overcome cooperative challenges, testing their teamwork and coordination in dynamic combat encounters.

In addition to improvements to Shiyu Defense and Deadly Strike, a new addition, Proxy Outpost, will help drive community interaction. Through in-game forums, Proxies can create or join interest-based posts to share interests, send commissions, and receive tasks. At the same time, a new quick sweep function will be introduced to Combat Simulation, allowing players to use Ether Batteries to quickly obtain agent promotional materials and Drive Discs. Overall, it’s a great time to relax and unwind in New Eridu.

The enhanced experience also extends to our valued colleagues at Hollows. In order for our former Agent friends to better adapt to harsher battlefields, we will be upgrading all agents in the permanent Stable Channel gradually in the near future. In Version 2.5, agents including Soldier 0 – Anby, Ellen, Soldier 11, Grace, and Burnice will be the first to receive refinements to their combat mechanics and performance improvements, marking the second wave of improvements for Soldier 0 – Anby and Ellen.
