Get ready to go to the track once again with your favorite character from Sonic Universe – and many more! Sonic Racing: Crossworlds advanced to Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 on September 25.

The new trailer is currently giving fans at a glance about the excitement that will come, highlighting the high -speed racing action and a list of developing characters that players are expected to be launched at the launch and so on!

The new entry to the Sonic Racing franchise features the largest character line ever seen by this series with more than 23 racers who can be played to be chosen. Players can light through every track with iconic sonic characters they know and love, but not all of them! This list will continue to grow after being launched with crossover characters from other Segatitles, as well as surprise guest racers from other popular game franchises, such as Minecraft, joining Sonic and Friends. We also spoke with the Sonic Team Creative Officer, Takashi IIzuka, about how the team worked together to make this the biggest addition to Sonic Racing.

When we started planning Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, we want to make it the next main title in the Sonic Racing series that starts with Sonic & Segaall-Stars racing. To achieve this, we need to make compilation comprehensive from all the pleasures of the past title to become a masterpiece in the series. We feel the need to display various Sega characters as racers that can be played, because it is a core feature that people love in the previous title. Including the characters of the game Sega and Atlus – New and long – in this game allows us to break the franchise barrier and provide an interesting racing experience for the players. We have even gone further by entering other icon characters outside the ranks of Sega to join the race and expand the appeal of the game to more people.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds not only transports players to the track inspired by the classic sonic stage, but also introduces the mechanics of travel rings that are all new, shaking players far away across land, sea, air, time and even medium spaces! This is the touch: anyone who leads can choose which world everyone is transported during the second round, so there are no two races that are quite the same.

We designed a lot of new tracks for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, but we also know that fans like racing on the track that bring them back to the places they remember from Sonic’s history. In addition to new locations, we also design tracks using themes from past titles to create new ones based on close places. I personally like the track based on Metal Harbor because I work on Sonic Adventure 2. This team did an extraordinary work to turn on Metal Harbor with a realistic portrayal that could not be achieved again when the original stage was made.

With more than 70 gadgets to choose from, there are many ways to adjust your approach to each race.
