Sharp your bar, Undead Fortress arrives June 26 on PS VR2 – Playstation.blog

Hey Slayers – The wait is almost over! After a long journey, Undead Fortress finally headed for PS VR2 on June 26.

This game has become an old passion project for us. We departed to make something that really felt like you were in the middle of a sandy and not tarnished world where every swing, block, and skewers were actually important. There is no button pounding, no light physics. Only you, the weapon, and whatever craws towards you.

What is Fort Undead?

In essence, this is the first person’s action game where you fight through the medieval world full of outbreaks flooded by the undead. You will fight through a fortress that is ridden by the plague using more than 75 different weapons from the sword and ax to the bow and even the hammer of the war. You will also find four wild-time ingredients that slow down, increase your strength, or freeze enemies in their tracks in the middle of the cost. It’s chaotic the best way.

The game features a complete story campaign with handmade levels, puzzles, and knowledge to be found. We also include Horde fashion (endless waves, scoring, chaos) and weapons warehouses where you can test every weapon you find in the sand box environment.

Built for VR, optimized for PS VR2

We designed everything from the bottom up for virtual reality. Combat is fully based on physics with hand movements 1: 1 and almost zero your delays in swinging your arms, that’s what happens in the game. Each impact has a real weight, every parry is important, and every error has consequences.

The right tracking of the PS VR2 and Haptics is responsive to make a big difference. Whether you avoid the sword, block with a shield, or nail the headshot with your last arrow, everything feels smooth, deep, and intense.

Smoother szab, less headache: Thank you, 90Hz!

Undead Citadel will run in 90Hz, allowing players to experience more natural and responsive movements when turning or avoiding. That makes the world feel more “real,” especially important when players physically interact with enemies in intense close -up meetings.

Not to mention, for players who are sensitive to VR, 90Hz are sweet spots for comfort, provide smooth motion and fast movements, which are useful when playing horde modes.

Why the PS VR2 version is so different

Undead Fortress on PS VR2 takes full advantage of hardware to make everything feel a little more real, in a way that you might not even realize at first, but it must be felt.

Adaptive triggers add subtle resistance when you hold a weapon, such as when shifting your hands along the sword grip or pressing the button in the menu. This is a small detail, but adds to the tactical feel of your interaction, making a big difference in the game.

Then there is the Happtics Headset – for example, when you are damaged, you will feel the rapid pulse that adds to the physical advantage of the action. This is not excessive, just enough to increase the sense of attendance. This is one of the features that you don’t realize you appreciate … until it’s not there.

Both of these features, Adaptive and Haptics Headset, exclusive triggers for the PS VR2 version, and we are happy with how they increase dyeing.

Get ready to face the undead

We have made extraordinary efforts and care in this matter, and we hope you will feel that when you play it. Thank you for all the support and patience along the road. We hope that Undead Citadel gives you a combat experience that is not like anything else in VR.

Wishlist is now to face a living corpse not like before. Undead Citadel will be available starting June 26, 2025, for $ 29.99!
