Hello! I am Oli, a game director at Kaizen Game Works, Creator of Paradise Killer. I am happy to announce that the demonstration that can be played for the drama of our new open mascot management crime, Promise Mascot Agency, came out today at PS5!
We have spent a long time to work on this game, and the whole team is eager to playstation players to get it. Let me kick it straight; PS5 rules. We are all at Kaizen, especially playing on Playstation, and we all grow with original PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and PS4. I collected Playstation and PS2 games, and that era directly affected the design of the promise mascot agent.
I like PS2 games where you hangout and do things -hal. Have you ever played Way of the Samurai, Raw Danger, Boku No Natsuyasumi and Steambot Chronicles? You must! You can really relax in the games, meet interesting characters, make important choices and explore your free time. That’s the type of game we want to make; A pleasant world with mystery, strange people, secret, friction of good gameplay and neat vibrations.
Control Lieutenant Yakuza who was exiled Michi, and collaborated with Chaos Goblin Pinky to save a bankrupt mascot agent and complete the underworld conspiracy that made Michi sent to the cursed city of the coast of Japan. In this game, the mascot is a living creature and the city of Kaso-Machi is filled with mistakes that cannot find work elsewhere. Michi will need to build a new mascot family and help them achieve their dreams, so that he can save the business and Yakuza family at home.
Kaso-Machi is a city that lives under the supernatural curse. The mountain in the middle of the island is a playground for spirits and gods. The city is full of superstition and supernatural stories. Michi can try to solve the mystery behind the appearance of ghosts, escape from the mystical tsuchinoko’s sins and creatures. However, the time in the city may be limited; The curse that hung over the city killed every yakuza that came to visit. Can Michi save the mascot agency and break the conspiracy before the curse of his body rot?

We started this project four years ago, collaborating with Ikumi Nakamura and Mai Mattori to design characters and the world. We have combined Kaizen’s style with Nakamura-san style to create a unique, nostalgian, and unique game. We are a western company, so we have worked with Japanese artists, musicians and creatives to revive our world and fill it with authenticity. Often we give a little creative direction, allowing our team members to make something authentic and meaningful for them. This has fulfilled the game with many different influences and life experiences.

We recently launched several of our voice actors including Kiazuma’s voice, Takaya Kuroda as Michi. We never expect to include voting acting, and we certainly do not expect Kurodes to only appear to the audition as if it was not a big problem. He worked with Ayano Shibuya as Pinky to create the dynamics of the friends of friends between Michi and Pinky. The game features many great voice actors, along with the role of the first voice acting for Shuhei Yoshida and Swery.
We are a small team and have taken everything we have to make a large, silly, generous, and strange open world RPG. We are very happy to share it with you all. We hope you enjoy the Demo (and Dualsense Controller Haptics, Adaptive Triggers and Speaker Features) on PS5. We will have more to share about the complete release date immediately.
