Squirrel With a Gun launches tomorrow – first look at the upcoming free update

Get ready, Squirrel With a Gun is coming to PS5 on October 15! That’s right, your favorite armed mammal is almost ready to clean up the city by defeating those pesky Agents. And just when you thought Squirrel With a Gun couldn’t get any more packed with squirrel goodness, we have a series of free updates planned and coming. Today we’ll give you a look at two major updates, the new Photo Mode releasing on October 15th and the Boss Battle update coming in the near future. Who would have thought that a squirrel had so much to do?

Present squirrel lewks with Photo Mode

Get ready to capture your most epic squirrel moments with the new Photo Mode! Whether you’re making a daring escape, doing something really cool in the air, or making new friends in the neighborhood, now you can capture and save all those unforgettable moments. The best part is that there are lots of modes to help you get the perfect shot.

The first is the classic Camera Adjustment Mode, which helps you control the camera like a pro. Move the camera, rotate, and even give it a dramatic Dutch angle for a serious impression. Zoom in and out with the Field of View (FoV) slider to frame your perfect shot, whether you’re looking up close and personal or viewing the action from afar.

Next is Focus Mode. Add a touch of photographic magic by playing with the camera’s focus. Choose the Player setting to keep the focus on you (because let’s face it, you’re the star), or get completely creative with Manual Mode, where you control the focus distance for the perfect screenshot.

And finally, Filter Mode. Why settle for ordinary photos when you can add a touch of whimsy to your photos? With 15 unique filters to collect, like cute kawaii-esqe filters, or awesome meme face filters that are timeless and still very relevant, you can turn every snap into something truly memorable or hilarious.

Get ready to face legendary bosses

Coming in one of our next updates, a new boss and boss fight is slowly taking place behind the scenes. Your enemy is the legendary Ratatoskr, a squirrel in Norse legend. Forcibly allied with the Agents, you must ascend to the heavens and fight these mythical rodents so as not to destroy the environment.

This boss fight is unlike any other you will face. These squirrels move quickly, have a variety of ranged and melee attacks, and are much smaller targets! Luckily, you will be given a special SMG with unlimited bullet magazines for this grand event.

That’s not the only thing that happens in the neighborhood. You can expect new outfits, new levels, new feathers, and maybe even a game-changing gadget from the laboratory that can change gravity itself! All of these updates come to Squirrel With a Gun for free. We want to keep having fun as long as we can!
