Fortnite becomes the first person with Ballistics
Ballistic bring a first person, adrenaline-filled, round-based, 5v5 competitive mode to Fortnite.
Gather your squad as strategy, tactical teamwork, and skill are critical to victory in this new Fortnite experience.
All new gameplay
At the start of a Ballistics match, you will be divided into one of two teams — attackers and defenders.
The attackers’ goal is to install the Rift Point Device, a reality-shattering explosive that can be installed in one of two locations on the map. The defender’s goal is to.. defend! Do whatever it takes to thwart the attacker’s plans to plant and detonate the device.
Every aspect of health is important at Ballistics. There are no respawns in this mode and the round will end immediately if any of the following happens; Rift Point devices explode or a team is eliminated completely. After six rounds, the attacker becomes the defender (and vice versa). Take home the win after winning a total of seven rounds with your team.
Turn on the fuse
Each player starts on an equal playing field with 800 credits to spend and a Ranger Pistol weapon. Think strategically, how you choose to spend your Ballistic credits can determine your success in Ballistic.
Earn more credits by scoring eliminations or planting Rift Point Devices during your attacker’s rounds. At the start of each round, you can use credits to unlock an arsenal of weapons like the Nemesis AR, Thunder Burst SMG, Reaper Sniper, and more to increase your chances of winning.
You can hold two weapons, one being your main weapon and the other being the Ranger Pistol. You will be able to keep weapons, shields and unconsumed items for the next round..if you survive. Just finished off an enemy? Feel free to take their weapons to use in the next round, seeker guard.
While the Rift Point Device can secure your team’s victory, make sure you take cover a good distance away. The blast is merciless and removing it means you will lose any items and weapons you have. You have 45 seconds, after successfully arming the device, to take cover.
Sharing is caring in Ballistics, help your teammates by dropping your weapons and items at any time during the round. Explosives more their style? You can also drop flashbangs and smoke grenades. If one of your teammates relies more on elimination, they can drop a weapon on you by spending their credits.
Fortnite Outfits, Kicks, Wraps, Sprays, and Emotes from your Locker are also available to equip. Cosmetics that may not be brought to the match are Black Blings, Pickaxes, Contrails, Instruments, Vehicles, and Jam Tracks.
The ultimate gadget
Each time a Ballistics match starts, you’ll choose one of five Flexible Gadgets — Proximity Mine, Bubble Shield, Frag Grenade, Recon Grenade, and Impulse Grenade. Choose wisely, once you lock your gadget, you will be the only player on your team who can purchase and use that gadget during the game. If you use Flex Gadgets correctly, you may be on your way to victory.
Early access and Fortnite Ballistics
Ballistics launched with the Skyline 10 map, a starting set of weapons, and a limited number of items. After launch, adjustments can be made based on player feedback, in addition to major updates such as new maps, weapons, and features.
At launch, Ballistic will be available on all platforms and regions where Fortnite is supported, except South Korea and Russia.

Relive the classic Battle Royale experience in Fortnite OG! Fortnite OG takes you back to day one of Season 1 and this time, it’s here to stay! Grab your squad, hop on the Battle Bus, and get ready to experience the OG loot and locations from the original launch of Battle Royale in Fortnite OG Chapter 1 – Season 1.
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 features the initial Season of Battle Royale, faithful to feature additions and loot pool exchanges. Even though the OG Fortnite season is shorter than the current Battle Royale season, you can still enjoy all the fun with Solo, Squad, and Zero Build at launch.
Some rough edges from Chapter 1 have been retained, while others have been polished. For example, you will find Reboot Vans and can see the glare from the sniper scope, but the Max building resource is set to 999
Lastly, the original map that launched in 2017 returns in a big way, with classic locations like Retail Row, Pleasant Park, Loot Lake, and much more.
An era-defining arsenal
A collection of loot that was available over seven years ago will be accessible on day one of Fortnite OG, including the Pump Shotgun. Yes, the Double Pump playstyle returns in Fortnite OG along with more items that won’t be changed as the season progresses! Traps return with several main options such as Wall Dynamo, Ceiling Trap, and Damage Trap.
Kick it old school with the Fortnite OG Pass
The Fortnite OG Pass delivers all the feels by featuring 45 tiers of modern twists on classic rewards. Earn Air Assault Bombers, Skeleton Commanders, and Rebel Insurgents Outfits, which also include unlockable alternate styles for every other nostalgic item in Season 1. You can get the OG pass in-game or by becoming a Fortnite Crew member, which includes this pass and many other benefits, such as the Battle Pass, LEGO Pass, and Music Tickets.
You can complete Chapter 1 — Fortnite OG Pass Season 1 until January 31, 2025, 2 a.m. ET by earning XP across all Fortnite experiences.

On your way to becoming a great Ronin, hone your fighting skills in the legendary Demon Dojo, force the demon lord’s servants out of the great sanctuary of the Warrior’s Watch, or test your fortitude on the mountaintop of Shogun’s Solitude, a place of immense power. The enemy is waiting for your arrival.
Harbor City
If you’re looking for the hustle and bustle of city life, Seaport City offers a dense commercial area. See which bakery serves the best and freshest in Canyon Crossing village, or meet travelers like you as you traverse the Shining Span.
Turtle Landmarks
Walk further along the lesser-known paths, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by sacred obelisks and hidden treasures within the overgrown Magic Mosses. Wander among the endless darkness of Nightshift Forest, or pay homage to The Great Turtle, who watches over the land.
Charms on medals, blades & firearms
Increase your mastery of defeating evil by claiming the Wanderer’s Medal from the rampaging demon warrior Shogun If you hunt the unrelenting Night Rose in her domain, you’ll earn a Night Rose Medallion for your efforts, which automatically reloads your weapon.
All of the traditional weapons supporting your efforts are of the hitscan variety, with direct damage on collisions with your enemies from weapons like the Veiled Precision SMG, Oni Shotgun, and more. If sword work is more your style, wield the destructive Typhoon Blade and unleash a series of attacks on your foes.
To add more magic to your arsenal, look for lesser demons around the island and defeat them to get their masks of power! Fire Oni Mask launches tracking projectiles towards the opponent and the hidden Void Oni Mask allows you to perform short distance transport to sneak around your enemies.
Make offerings to the Sprites and gain great benefits at the Sprite Shrine
May luck be on your side if you encounter the charming Air, Water and Earth Sprites wandering around the island, who give you unique effects to increase your luck during battle.
By guiding a Sprite to one of the abandoned Sprite Shrines on the island, you can earn a powerful Fire, Water, Void, or Wind Gift that grants unique powers for the duration of the game. Rewards can also be given from bosses and found in Chests.
Ride in style
If you want to get your enemies off your trail faster, look no further A modern, wheeled Rogue Bike. The sporty, high-performance Void Burn The coupe also leaves it in the dust and adds the threat of notoriety to your path.
New traversal maneuver
Whether you want to Ledge Jump, Wall Kick, Wall Scramble, or perform a Roll Landing, these features are now part of Fortnite’s core moves, available in Battle Royale, Reload, Fortnite OG, and creator-made islands.
Conquer the darkness with the 鬼 Hunters Battle Pass
Unlock premium reward levels in the 鬼 Hunters Battle Pass when you spend 1,000 V-Bucks and earn XP across various Fortnite modes. By upgrading your pass, you can earn up to 1,500 V-Bucks as well as some great Outfits, including:
